Just purchased the Pathfinder? Maybe, you've been manning its ten and two for a number of years now. Whatever the case may be, as a proud Pathfinder owner, you will want to make sure it is properly maintained so that it can continue to run properly for years to come.

Fortunately, for Brockton, Randolph, and Stoughton, MA, area drivers, it'll be easy to care for the SUV, with the help of our Nissan Pathfinder maintenance schedule. Check it out and make sure to contact our team here at Nissan 24 if you have any questions!

10,000 Miles

Your first maintenance interval will occur at the 10,000-mile mark. For many drivers, this will come after a year of driving, though it could come sooner or later depending on how much you drive.

In any case, there are a number of important services you'll want to have performed at this interval. Perhaps the most important is replacing your engine oil and oil filter and also rotating your tires. These are considered 'essential' services, so you definitely won't want to skip out here.

At this mileage point, there are a number of inspections you will want to have your mechanic perform, as well:

  • Brake lines and cables
  • Brake pads and rotors
  • Drive shaft and propeller shaft
  • Transfer fluid
  • Differential gear oil

These services and inspections will repeat every 10,000 miles for the lifetime of the vehicle. So, you can think of them as once a year needs.

15,000 Miles

Once you have driven 15,000 miles behind the wheel of your Pathfinder, you'll need to replace the in-cabin microfilter, which works to keep the cabin air clean as you drive. Again, this service will repeat every 15,000 miles.

20,000 Miles

As you continue to drive, your brakes will prove important, allowing you to slow and stop. As they endure wear and tear, it is important to maintain them. That's why, at the 20,000-mile mark, the Pathfinder's brake fluid will need to be replaced. As you may have guessed, this service will repeat for every 20,000 miles you drive.

30,000 Miles

In addition to some of the maintenances mentioned above that will recur at the 30,000-mile mark, there are a few added services. Namely, the SUV will need to have its air filter replaced and have its Intelligent Key battery replaced.

90,000 Miles

Most of the maintenance schedule will remain the same as you drive, repeating over different mileage marks. Once you reach 90,000 miles, though, you will need to look at your transmission and have its fluid replaced.

105,000 Miles

At 105,000 miles, your engine will have endured some serious wear and tear. Accordingly, it will need to have its coolant and spark plugs replaced.
