Nissan Versa: Seating & Cargo

Inside the 2021 Nissan Versa sedan, you’ll find seating for up to five along with 14.3 cubic feet of cargo space, allowing you to fit things like luggage or shopping bags. The 60/40 split rear seat makes it easy to accommodate both passengers and belongings at the same time.

2021 Nissan Versa: Interior & Technology

The standard 7-inch color touch screen display will put your infotainment, navigation, and apps front and center in the Nissan Versa. Optional Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration help you stay connected on the go by displaying your smartphone apps directly onto the touch screen.

Available features like the Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and Siri® Eyes Free enable you to control the cabin while maintaining a steady grip on the wheel. For a more elegant feel and appearance, you can upgrade to a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

Nissan Versa: Active Safety

In terms of safety, the 2021 Versa offers the Nissan Safety Shield® 360 suite. Some of these driver-assist features include:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
  • Blind Spot Warning Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Rear Automatic Braking
  • High Beam Assist

These systems work together to boost awareness of your surroundings by sending audible and visual alerts. The features with automatic braking capability act as an extra defense. In the event of a potential frontal or rear collision, these systems can intervene to help you avoid or mitigate an impact.

Other available features in the 2021 Nissan Versa include Intelligent Driver Alertness and Intelligent Cruise Control. The first one monitors your driving patterns and encourages you to take a break if it detects signs of drowsy or distracted driving. The latter maintains a set following distance to the vehicle ahead and adapts to the flow of traffic so you can relax more.

2021 Nissan Versa: Performance & MPG

Expected to achieve up to an EPA-estimated 32 city/40 highway MPG, the Nissan Versa will deliver ample stop-free miles both across town and beyond.1 Its standard 122-horsepower 1.6L 4-cylinder engine delivers peppy acceleration and 114 lb-ft of torque.

The base trim comes with a smooth 5-speed manual transmission. However, drivers also have the option to upgrade to an Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission), standard on the SV and SR trims. The wider design of this transmission works to deliver quicker acceleration as well as greater efficiency.
