2014 Nissan Cube Review

Drivers in the Brockton area would be wise to consider the 2014 Nissan
Cube. This 5-passenger compact wagon is available in 2 trim levels: S
and SL. With a smooth ride, plenty of passenger space, simplicity when
it comes to parking, an impressive standard features list and an even
longer list of options, this is an affordable answer to the needs of the
modern driver. There are also quite a few unique ways that drivers can
customize this wagon to perfectly align with their priorities.

The Entry Level S Trim

2014 cubeThe S trim is the basic level, and it comes with features like 15-inch
steel wheels, air conditioning, height-adjustable driver’s seat, back
privacy glass, keyless entry, cloth upholster, armrests for the driver
and front passenger, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth, cruise
control, power accessories and a 6-speaker stereo with CD player and
audio jack.

The SL Trim

If you upgrade to the SL trim you’ll get even more features, like
16-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition, keyless entry, auto headlights
and auto climate control. There’s also the Preferred Optional Package
that comes with extras like a touchscreen navigation system, premium
Rockford Fosgate stereo, foglights, rearview camera, satellite radio and
a USB/iPod interface.

Options on All Trims

Both trims are available with a wide range of personalization
accessories. Great examples include special wheels, shag carpet

Pop the Hood for Power

Under the hood you’ll find a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine with a resulting 122
hp and 127 lb-ft of torque. This is a front-wheel drive vehicle. The S
trim is standard with a 6-speed manual transmission and is available
with an optional CVT, which is standard on the SL. When tested, this car
goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in 9.7 seconds, which is just where
a car in this segment should be. The EPA estimates fuel its economy at
27 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg combined with the
CVT. The manual gets 25 mpg in the city, 30 mpg on the highway and 27
mpg combined.

Safety Equipment and Scores
