2016 Nissan Maxima Design vs. 2016 Toyota Avalon Design

As mentioned above, the 2016 Nissan Maxima just received a complete makeover and new look that’s wildly different from the previous model. The eighth-generation Maxima offers drivers a luxurious design, sporty cabin, and impressive 300-horsepower engine. The Maxima also offers drivers and front seat passengers more legroom and head space than the Avalon.

Both the Maxima and the Avalon offer owners plenty of space to seat up to five passengers comfortably. These two full-size sedans are also about the same size and take up about the same amount of space in a garage.

Nissans are known for offering great technology features at affordable costs, and the Maxima is no exception. All 2016 Maximas come equipped with the newest and latest high-tech features, such as the standard NissanConnect with Navigation system and Remote Engine Start with Intelligent Climate Control.

These high-tech and efficient features don’t come standard with the 2016 Toyota Avalon. However, both do offer great fuel economy and color screen displays on the dashboard.

Nissan Maxima Safety vs. Toyota Avalon Safety

With its forward-thinking safety features, the 2016 Nissan Maxima was created with your safety in mind. This full-size sedan offers a Predictive Forward Collision Warning system, which can alert Maxima drivers of potential risks of up to two vehicles ahead.

The Maxima also offers a Driver Attention Alert system that monitors your steering patterns. This feature will alert drivers when it detects unusual steering activity, which could indicate driver fatigue, and help to prevent unfortunate accidents.

Both sedans offer great accident prevention and protection for the well-being and peace of mind of drivers and passengers.

Nissan Maxima vs. Toyota Avolon Performance Comparison

Because of its greater horsepower, the Nissan Maxima is more powerful than the Toyota Avalon, making it a sportier and sleeker choice. The Maxima’s smooth ride will make you forget that you’re in a five-passenger sedan.

Although both the Maxima and the Avalon have the same standard 3.5-liter V6 engines, the Maxima’s power and efficiency make it an obvious choice for any driver. Both sedans will get the job done, but the Maxima will get you there a lot smoother.
