Taste of Hingham: History
May 21, 2016 will mark the 13th yearly celebration of all that Hingham, MA has to offer at the Taste of Hingham! TOH was born back in 2004 when the Hingham Downtown Association, Hingham Congregational Church and Eat Well, Inc. banded together with a dual mission: to build local awareness of the area’s service providers and small businesses while also benefitting non-profit organizations in the South Shore region.
Over a decade later, the Taste of Hingham has succeeded on both fronts, with over 3,000 attendees coming out each year for a day of sampling delicious local fare and over $175,000 raised for local non-profits.
