C.N. Smith Farm is a family-owned and -operated farm just 10 miles south of Brockton in East Bridgewater, MA. On the weekends in October, you can pile on a traditional hayride out to C.N. Smith’s pumpkin patch. Checking out all of the pretty pumpkins is half the fun. Before taking your pick, walk the perimeter of C.N. Smith’s field where bright orange finds nestle under curly green vines.

The C.N. Smith pumpkin patch is open weekends in October from 10 am to 4 pm. A selection of pre-picked pumpkins is available in their store.

Beaver Brook Farm

Brockton’s nearest pumpkin patch is located at Beaver Brook Farm, just 3.2 miles from Main Street in East Bridgewater. Not only does Beaver Brook have a sizeable pumpkin selection, they also provide everything you need to get your chosen pumpkin doorstep ready.

Visit Beaver Brook between October 18 and 27 to attend their Painted Pumpkin Patch event and get your fresh-from-the-field pick decorated in time for Halloween night.

You can pick your own pumpkins at Beaver Brook Farm weekends from 10 am to 5 pm.

Ward’s Berry Farm

Ward’s Berry Farm in Sharon, MA, located 13 miles west of Brockton, harvests more than just berries. In the fall, Ward’s hillsides are peppered by orange specks of all shapes and sizes. But you won’t just encounter the traditional round and poised pumpkins out in their field. An array of pumpkin types grow at Ward’s patch, including oblong sugar pumpkins that are great for baking and white pumpkins that provide a pleasant contrast to your outdoor display.

Billingsgate Farm

Located fewer than 14 miles southeast of Brockton in Plympton, MA, Billingsgate Farm offers an abundance of organically grown produce, pick-your-own pumpkins, and outdoor fall fun.

In September and October, Billingsgate’s pumpkin patch is overflowing with pumpkins ripe for picking. After you find your pumpkin match, head back to venture a 3-acre corn maze that combines question and answer hunts alongside the twists and turns of a winding design.
