2015 Nissan Maxima: Coming Soon

Originally introduced in 1976 and now in its eighth generation, the 2015 Nissan Maxima is getting a revamp from stem to stern, inside and out. The five seater four door has a sporty redesign, and coupled with a luxurious interior, moves from its past niche as a family sedan to an overall vehicle in four different trims that will appeal to most buyers.

With a 290 horsepower V6 under the hood and a CV transmission controlling front wheel drive, the sedan turns in a very healthy EPA est. 26 mpg highway.

The addition of lots of previously additional cost options is one of the significant differences for 2015, and include a power sliding moon roof, redesigned grill, body and roof lines, lending to a much sportier appearance than previous generations.

Previous drivers of Maxima will find a completely restyled cabin, with more room, improved sight lines and new on board technology from Intel. An available dash-mounted rear view monitor gives you the assurance there is nothing behind you when driving in reverse. An AM / FM / 6 CD in dash changer is standard, along with auxiliary inputs for your personal devices. Bluetooth connectivity is included, or course.

The available navigation and BOSE audio system will keep you informed and entertained on your long distance journey or your daily commute. Real time weather and traffic is available on screen when you opt for Sirius/XM services, which also include GPS-centric Zagat restaurant recommendations.

Safety and Security

An array of airbags controlled by Nissan’s Advanced Airbag System will keep you secure in the event of impacts. An energy absorbing steering column along with reinforced steel sidebars provide additional reassurance.

Security is handled by Nissan’s Vehicle Immobilizer System, and the Vehicle Security System, standard on all Maxima trims. The Immobilizer will not permit your car engine to start without use of the registered key.
