Halloween, the scariest day of the year, is fast approaching. It’s the time for costumes, jack-o-lanterns, witches and ghosts, in one form or another. Once dusk arrives and after the kids go out to trick or treat in MA, watching a heart-stopping horror flick is the only way to end this night. There are scary movies out there for adults and kids alike to enjoy. The following short list includes some of the scariest movies to add to your Netflix queue this Halloween. Movie Popcorn

Perhaps the most iconic of movies to watch on Halloween is the original Halloween movie from 1978 about Michael Myers and his famed murderous streak throughout the town on the holiday. This movie is not available for streaming, so any watchers will need to allow a few days for delivery.

Stephen King’s ‘It’

Clowns; they’re either fun and cute or the scariest creatures around, with absolutely no middle ground. Imagine an evil clown set on killing the kids in town and that’s the plot for this thriller. This movie will need to be added to the queue for home delivery.

‘Jeepers Creepers’
Picture driving along a lonely road, barely passing a car, when a mysterious person in a truck is seen dumping body bags near an abandoned building. That’s the set up for this thriller when an unsuspecting brother and sister decide to investigate. This is not available for live streaming.

‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’

A Tim Burton classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas is perhaps one of the most original takes on the October holiday that kids and adults alike can enjoy. This movie is available for streaming on Netflix.

‘Hocus Pocus’

Maybe not the most scary movie, it’s definitely a must see and appropriate for the family this Halloween season. It’s about witches from centuries ago that are resurrected in the 20th century. This movie is not available for streaming and will need to be added to the queue for delivery.

It won’t take the kids long to trick or treat in MA, but the fun doesn’t have to end. Pick one of these spooky movies from Netflix to cap off Halloween night.
