2015 Nissan Rogue Review
2015 NIssan Rogue Brockton, MAThe Nissan Rogue was completely redesigned for 2014, and many of those enhancements carry over to 2015. Brockton, Randolph and Stoughton residents will enjoy seeing the 2015 Nissan Rogue with its new features.
The Nissan Rogue has some surprisingly nice interior styling. Nissan has created a premium interior for comfort and multi-tasking that makes seating flexible as well. The car has EZ Flex™ seating System and the innovative Divide-N-Hide™ Cargo System, so there is optional 3-row/7-passenger seating and exceptional passenger and cargo space.
Every 2015 Nissan Rogue is equipped with a responsive 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The engine is matched with an advanced Xtronic transmission. The Rogue comes in three well-equipped models: S, SV and SL. Each model comes with a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
There are some specific enhancements for 2015. These are available on the S, SV and SL models. The Eco-mode Function, which makes maximum use of fuel-efficiency mode, how been added to the Powertrain package. Drivers can easily switch to Eco-mode using either the car navigation system screen or the Eco-mode switch. Heated cloth seats have been added to the SV Premium Package. The color Artic Blue Metallic is new and takes the place of Graphite Blue, which has been phased out.
The Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover car. Standard equipment on the S trim includes 17-inch steel wheels, LED running lights, keyless entry, cruise control, air-conditioning with rear vents, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver seat, a 40/20/40-split backseat (folds, slides and reclines), a 5-inch color infotainment display, a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a 4-speaker sound system with a CD player, an iPod/USB interface and an auxiliary audio jack.
The SV trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, rear privacy glass, roof rails, keyless ignition and entry, a six-way power driver seat (with power lumbar), dual-zone automatic climate control, NissanConnect Smartphone app integration and a 6-speaker sound system that also includes satellite radio.
The SL model gets standard 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, heated mirrors, a power lift-gate, leather upholstery, heated front seats, voice controls, a 360-degree parking camera system (Around View), a 7-inch touch-screen display, a navigation system and an 8-speaker Bose audio system with a 6-CD changer.
There are no new safety ratings for the 2015 Nissan Rogue, but in 2014, during Insurance Institute for Highway Safety testing, the Rogue received the highest possible rating of “Good” in both the small-overlap and moderate-overlap frontal-offset impact tests. It also received a “Good” score in the side-impact, roof strength and whiplash protection (seat and head restraint design) tests.
2015 Nissan Rogue Brockton, MAThe EPA estimates that Rogues with front-wheel drive will get 26 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway. The all-wheel drive option gets 25 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway.
